ART IN DAILY LIFE

This is an exhibition meticulously planned and organized to discover and support outstanding artists while building a bridge between artists and collectors. Through this event, we aim to enhance the quality of local art activities, invigorate the art scene, promote art sales, and help collectors acquire high-quality artworks locally.

Throughout the event, we will be sending out media promotions from  August 27 to Sept 27. The earlier an artist registers, the more likely their work will be included in the promotional content.

Every moment of life holds the essence of art. Whether in mundane details or unique experiences, life itself is an ever-unfolding canvas of artistry. This exhibition invites artists to explore and present how they discover and express art within their daily lives. The showcased works will include artists' observations of life's details, artistic reinterpretations of everyday scenes, and the transformation of moments and emotions into their creations. Let us appreciate the art in everyday life and experience how it becomes an integral part of each moment.

This exhibition, initiated by ART IN DAILY LIFE, features professional jurors and aims to discover outstanding artists. Held annually and free of charge, it maintains a high level of professionalism. We offer professional judges, cash prizes, and the opportunity to be featured in the golf club magazine, STROLL, and exhibit at Art & Frame of Sarasota in October during the fall. We look forward to your participation to add vitality and prestige to our platform.

Exhibition Formats:

  • Online Exhibition: Artworks will be displayed in a virtual gallery.

  • In-Person Exhibition: Artworks will be displayed at Art&Frame Sarasota.

  • All artworks must be submitted ONLINE for jurying.

  • Cash awards will be chosen by the juror in person once all works are installed at the exhibition space.

  • Artists participating in the online exhibition will have the opportunity to be featured on our website and promoted through social media.

Juried Exhibition Rules

This exhibition invites submissions in a variety of media, including oil painting, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, ceramics, sculpture, photography, printmaking, digital art, and installation art. We encourage entries across these diverse mediums to highlight the richness and variety of artistic expression.

The jurors will review all submitted materials without knowledge of the artist's identity or the artwork's price to ensure impartiality. The panel will include both American and international judges. We will announce our guest judges by September 25th. Their non-local status will help eliminate any potential for bias or unfairness.

High-resolution images are required and must accurately represent the actual work. Our staff will perform on-site comparisons and assist judges who are unable to attend in making their evaluations. Art in Daily Life values the integrity of artistic expression and is committed to maintaining a fair competition.

Content Guidelines

Our exhibitions aim to promote the free exchange of ideas and believe that art should present diverse perspectives, innovative concepts, and the experiences of others. We uphold that art should be inclusive, regardless of race, geography, or age. As a community-focused art center, we strive to maintain an open and welcoming atmosphere. Therefore, we reserve the right to exclude artworks that contain hate speech, racist or violent imagery, pornography, or content that demeans individuals or groups. Although such instances are rare, we retain the right to make decisions as needed. Thank you for your understanding and support.
