LIU ZHENZHONG
Liu Zhenzhong, born in 1969 in Tianjin, graduated from the Fine Arts Department of Tianjin Normal University. Over the years, his works have been well-received by collectors both domestically and internationally, and he has won awards in numerous exhibitions. His works are held in collections including the German Olympic Committee, the Beijing Olympic Committee, Xinran Art Bank, Le Ya International Art Foundation, and the Smith family in the United States.
Liu Zhenzhong’s floral works are distinctive for their incorporation of calligraphic lines and ink-splash techniques into oil paintings, creating a new visual effect with rich, vibrant colors and aesthetic appeal. His portrait works, on the other hand, de-emphasize realism to focus on subjective consciousness. Built on hyperrealism, these works are infused with strong Eastern elements, abandoning conventional visual communication in favor of using various illusions to express the complexity of human experience and inner struggles.
